Kuwait’s health ministry on Wednesday said that 21 people tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 413,198.
No deaths of the virus were reported within the same period, keeping the death toll at 2,465,
the Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah AlSanad told KUNA. Total recoveries rose by 25 to
410,496, he added.
There are 237 patients receiving treatment at hospitals, in addition to 12 others at COVID19
wards, he noted, pointing out that ICUs are currently clear from COVIDrelated cases.
Medical swabs conducted over the same period reached 16,241, increasing the total tests to
5.2 million, he stated.
