Kuwait’s daily coronavirus cases rose by 189 to 409,552 as deaths increased by one to 2,417, the health ministry said on Sunday.
Another 341 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 404,558, according to ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad in a statement.
The number of people hospitalized with the virus at COVID-19 wards is 200, with 89 of them in intensive care units, he added, revealing that another 2,577 are receiving regular treatment.
He went on to urge nationals and expatriates alike that abiding by health precautions, mainly, following social distancing rules, is the only way to halt the spread of the virus.
