Kuwait is the fourth safest Arab country

The Economist magazine published a classification of safe cities in the world for the year 2021, and Copenhagen topped the safest cities in the world, while Abu Dhabi topped the cities of the Arab world, Al Jarida daily reported.

Kuwait ranked 53rd in the world with 49.9 points and fourth in the Arab world, behind Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Riyadh.

The Safe Cities Index, issued by the magazine, measures the performance of 60 cities around the world and is based on 5 pillars of security standards; digital security, health security, infrastructure security, personal security, and environmental security.

According to the report, prepared by the Economist Intelligence Unit, Copenhagen ranked first as the safest city in the world, with a score of 82.4 points, while Canada’s Toronto came in second place, slightly ahead of the Danish capital, with 82.2 points.

Singapore ranked third globally, with 80.7 points, followed by Sydney with 80.1 points, and the Russian capital, Moscow, ranked 38th globally, with 62.5 points.
