Kuwait fourth happiest Arab country, Lebanon last

Finland won the title of ‘Happiest country in the world’ for the fifth year in a row, while Mauritania, Jordan and Lebanon are at the bottom of the classification.

The classification is issued annually under the supervision of the United Nations since 2012 through the ‘Annual Happiness Report’, which includes about 150 countries, reports a local Arabic daily.

In the Arab world, Bahrain ranked 21st at the global level, first in the Arab world, followed by the United Arab Emirates in second place in the Arab world, 24 globally, and Saudi Arabia, third in the Arab world, while Kuwait ranked fourth in the Arab world and 50 globally.
