Kuwait Food and Relief Bank, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of Awqaf, launched on Saturday a charitable campaign to distribute 23,000 meals to limited income people during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a press statement, Deputy Chairman of Kuwait Food Bank Mishaal Al-Ansari said the campaign is part of a group of charitable initiatives undertaken by the Bank during Ramadan in light of the difficult circumstances due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The campaign is a part of the bank strategy to secure the needs of deprived families, Al Ansari said. He confirmed the bank’s efforts to support all charitable and voluntary activities to better serve the Kuwaiti society. Al-Ansari added that the Kuwait Food and Relief Bank is the first charitable body that launched a relief campaigns all over Kuwait.
