Kuwait’s daily coronavirus cases rose by 58 to 410,842, while deaths increased by one to 2,432, the Health Ministry said Monday.
Another 117 virus patients were cured of the virus, raising the total number of recoveries to 407,262, the ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad in a statement to KUNA.
The number of patients receiving medical care in COVID-19 wards is 89, including 32 in intensive care units, he said, adding that another 1,148 are receiving regular treatment. Some 14,661 swab tests were conducted over the last day, taking the total to 3.9 million, he noted.
The spokesman urged nationals and residents alike to follow health guidelines; mainly social distancing, as the sole way to rein in the spread of the virus.
