Kuwait based Indian woman and her 11 year old son drown in India

In a tragic accident, Kuwait based Indian woman Rosaria and her 11 year old son Shawn drowned in a river in the South Indian port city of Mangalore, India on September 11.

35 year old Rosario was working as a Sales manager for Akbar Travels, Kuwait. She had also worked for Jet Airways Kuwait office in the past. Rosaria was married to Noel who was working as a journalist in India.

According to local media reports, the incident took place in the afternoon when Rosaria and her son Shawn were walking along the riverside. Shawn accidentally slipped and fell into the river and was drowning while Rosaria jumped into the water to save her son, but as Rosaria also did not know how to swim they both drowned
