His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a cable of condolence on Monday from the former president of Iraq Fuad Masum, expressing his deepest sorrow and condolences over the death of His Highness the late Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the former Amir of Kuwait.
Masum also extended his congratulations to His Highness the Amir for assuming the leadership of Kuwait, wishing His Highness success in the new role. His Highness the Amir replied with a cable, expressing his appreciation and gratitude over Masum’s sincere condolences and sentiments. His Highness also thanked him for his sincere congratulations, wishing him health and well-being.
