Kuwait Ambassador to Qatar Khaled Al-Mutairi on Sunday praised “the wonderful, professional, and highly efficient” organization of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Ambassador Al-Mutairi appreciated the “relentless” efforts made by the Qatari government since FIFA chose Doha to host the World Cup, of which it was reflected in the high quality and accuracy of the organization.
Al-Mutairi explained that the Ministry of Interior represented by the Explosives Department from the Special Forces, and the General Fire Department participated at the government level in organizing and securing the Qatar World Cup 2022.
Kuwaiti volunteers are working wonderfully in organizing World Cup by facilitating the entry and exit of the masses and providing first aid, he added, stressing Kuwait’s keenness to put all its capabilities to make this great global sports gathering a success.
Regarding the entry of vehicles of citizens and residents of the GCC countries into Qatar, Al-Mutairi called on everyone to abide by the Qatari instructions, and obtain a previous “acceptable” permit from the Qatari authorities to enter the country.
He stressed that the Kuwaiti embassy is working in turn to facilitate procedures for the entry, exit of citizens and assist them while they are in Doha.
