The Ministry of Social Affairs day before yesterday supervised the Ordinary General Assembly of the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE), during which the name of Faisal Al-Atl was recommended for the post of president for two years.
The KSE General Assembly approved the administrative and financial reports and its final account for the year 2022, and the Board of Directors was authorized to choose the auditor for the next year and determine his paycheck, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Al-Atl confirmed, on the sidelines of the General Assembly, that the society is continuing to implement its work strategy, develop the role of the Kuwaiti engineer in development plans, and provide more compatible job opportunities and engineering specializations.
He indicated that the society is awaiting approval of its initiative to train and qualify about 200 Kuwaiti engineers in various disciplines to work in the Ministry of Awqaf, saying he appreciates the approval of Ministry of Education and the Civil Service Commission, for the idea of allowing Kuwaiti engineers to teach scientific subjects.
