On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Korea, and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kuwait, I wish to convey my heartiest greetings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and the friendly people of the State of Kuwait on the happy occasion of 60th anniversary of National Day and the 30th anniversary of Liberation Day of Kuwait.
The Republic of Korea is proud to have been part of the multinational coalition that contributed to the liberation of Kuwait from the Iraqi invasion in 1991, and also proud of the incredible progress the two countries have made in their bilateral relationship over the past years.
The State of Kuwait has positioned itself as peacebuilder, negotiator, humanitarian and development icon, both regionally and globally, and contributed to keeping peace and stability of the Middle East.
I hope both countries continuously work together to overcome the crisis caused by the pandemic and expand their ties in new areas.
