Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) intends to offer 7 service project tenders for the company’s refineries and in the affiliated fuel stations, Al Anbaa daily reported quoting responsible sources.
The sources said to the daily that KNPC has asked the Public Tenders Authority to offer a tender for quality control services in the company’s refineries, and the agency decided to offer the tender to the qualified companies soon.
The second tender is for operating services for fuel filling and car washing sites and for the facilities of the Local Marketing Department. The National Petroleum has made some amendments to the contracts to ensure the safe operation of the stations.
The sources said that the third tender is for the rental of transport vehicles, various mobile equipment, and other resources at Al-Ahmadi Mina Refinery and local marketing. While the fourth tender will be issued to rent cars for the company employees. The fifth tender includes another service contract for renting a variety of joint-use cars.
Sources mentioned that the sixth contract with the company is a tender for the administrative and postal services contract in the KNPC building in Ahmadi and the refineries of the company, while the seventh contract is for services for local marketing facilities.
The sources expected that the above tenders will be put up within the next two weeks.
