KMA condemns attacks on doctors

The Kuwait Medical Association has denounced two incidents of attacking doctors in their workplaces. The first was an attack on a doctor at Umm Al-Hayman Health Center, and the second was against two doctors at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital.

The head of the Complaints Committee at the Kuwait Medical Association (KMA), Dr. Maitham Hussein said the medical association has been reassured about the health and condition of the doctors, and appointed the association’s lawyer to defend them.

Dr. Hussein expressed his regret over the repeated incidents of attacks against doctors in recent times, stressing that the association will not allow these attacks, and will defend and protect doctors through the law, stressing the need for the attacks to face legal accountability.
