The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development said no new loans were given to Lebanon thus pouring cold water on what has been published by the social media.
The social media had said Kuwait gave Lebanon US$ 60 million recently. However, the aforementioned loan was to finance a project to establish sewage systems in the Batroun district in Lebanon but it was signed on March 29, 2022, reports Al-Qabas daily.
