Kuwait Central Bank (KCB) has agreed with strings attached to Kuwait Finance House’s acquisition of Bahrain’s Al-Ahli United Bank, the country’s top banker said on Tuesday, 8 October. The agreement comes with a number of technical and legal provisons to ensure that the procedure is transparent and adheres to Islamic principles, Dr. Mohammad Al-Hashel said in a statement.
