Japan Embassy announces scholarship for Teacher Training Program 2022

The Embassy of Japan in Kuwait has announced the Japanese Government Scholarship for the Teacher Training Program for the Academic Year 2022, which was established in 1954 with the aim of increasing mutual understanding between the people of Japan and other countries, as well as making an international contribution in the intellectual field.

Al-Rai said a statement issued by the embassy stated that Kuwaitis can apply for the scholarship if the following conditions are met:

A – Applicants must be born on or after April 2, 1987.

B – Applicants must initially be graduates of universities or teacher training institutes and have worked as teachers for the primary, intermediate or secondary levels for at least five years.

C – Applicants must be physically fit to participate in the program.

D – Applicants must have an interest in Japan and a desire to deepen their understanding of Japan after arriving there and must have an ability to prepare for research in Japan and adapt to live there.

E – Embassy of Japan will examine the forms, conduct interviews and exams.

The embassy clarified that the last date for submitting the required papers is Thursday, February 17, 2022. The application should be delivered by hand to the embassy.

The sources pointed out that the application process for the grant includes examining papers, a written exam and a personal interview, indicating that the date of the written exam is February 21, 2022.
