The International Women’s Group (IWG) Kuwait’s delegation met on Thursday, 4 February, Mr. Kamel Al Abduljaleel, the Secretary-General of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) at their headquarters in Kuwait City.
The IWG delegation included Mrs. Ambreen Mustafa, President of IWG and wife of the Pakistani Ambassador to Kuwait; Mrs. Clethe Gubler, Advisor to the President of IWG and wife of the Swiss Federation Ambassador to Kuwait; Mrs. Rima Khalidi, Vice-President of IWG and wife of the Palestinian Ambassador to Kuwait.
The delegation briefed the Secretary-General on the various activities of IWG and the special arrangements for the upcoming celebrations of Kuwait’s National and Liberation days. The delegation also discussed the other activities which include events celebrating the cultures of its many international members.
At their meeting, the Secretary General and the delegation also discussed opportunities for future cooperation between IWG and NCCAL. Mr. Al Abduljaleel expressed his high regard and pleasure to learn the extent of IWG’s role in promoting cross-cultural appreciation and understanding in Kuwait as well as an appreciation for IWG’s efforts in the activities it organizes. The IWG delegation was very thankful for the meeting and warm hospitality of Mr. Kamel Al Abduljaleel and look forward to their two organizations collaborating together in the future.
