In my name and on behalf of the Government and people of Italy, I am pleased to extend my warmest and heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the Kuwaiti Government and the friendly people of Kuwait, on the occasion of the celebration of the National Day and the Liberation Day.
The depth of historical and cultural relations that bind the two countries, has developed into a long-term dynamic partnership in various fields, including economic, developmental, investment, political and archaeological fields. The two cooperation agreements in the field of archaeology signed recently between Italy and Kuwait prove once again the strong ties at all levels that bind our two countries.
I wish Kuwait and its people continued stability, peace and prosperity under its wise leadership.
