The Italian Embassy in Kuwait in collaboration with Kuwait Airways presented a show featuring the Gruppo Storico di Fivizzano troupe to mark the occasion of National and Liberation Days of Kuwait. The event was held for the first time in Kuwait on Friday, 15 February at 360 mall and Marina mall respectively. Ten talented Italian performers gave an exhibition of flag-waving choreography and of folklore music with drums and trumpets, while in vibrant traditional costumes. A large crowd was enchanted by the whirlwind of colors and rich music that allowed them a glimpse of traditional Italian culture.
The troupe is well-known for recreating the festive atmosphere of the Renaissance era of Italy, where celebrations involved trumpets and drums and flag throwers danced around the squares of Italian towns.
