Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant-General Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf, chaired a meeting of senior officers of the traffic sector, Monday, in his office to find solutions to traffic congestion on Kuwaiti roads.
Al-Qabas has learned the meeting held at the Ministry of Interior headquarters, also looked at proposals to reduce bottlenecks and traffic density in addition to studies and ministerial decisions to develop a new and advanced mechanism to grant driving licenses to expatriates.
The Undersecretary confirmed the security establishment seeks to develop and establish the best traffic system to achieve the desired goals.
Lieutenant-General Al-Nawaf added a number of observations were made during the meeting to solve the traffic problem.
The Undersecretary of the Interior conveyed the greetings of the Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali, and praised the efforts exerted by the traffic men to ensure safety of road users, particularly the motorists and the smooth flow of traffic on the roads.
