Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Correctional Institutions Affairs and Sentence Implementation, Major General Talal Marafie, inaugurated the annual spring camp for female inmates of the Central Prison Administration to enhance the social aspect of caring for male and female inmates within correctional institutions.
Major-General Marafie expressed satisfaction for the efforts and thanked those involved in this activity for carrying out their humanitarian mission towards the inmates within the framework of Kuwait’s keenness to abide by international human rights covenants, reports Al-Jarida daily.
He said General Administration of Correctional Institutions strives to show the civilized face of the State of Kuwait through the application of all international standards in providing distinguished services to male and female inmates upon the directives of senior leadership of the Ministry of Interior.
