The Ministry of Interior is about to open family visits to various nationalities, including the Lebanese, on May 8.
In an exclusive statement to a local Arabic daily, a security source announced the same old rules and regulations will be applicable, most notably the salary of the sponsor must be appropriate to host a family.
The resumption of family visits comes after a hiatus of more than two years which were stopped to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. The source did not clarify whether the visitors will be required the submit evidence of vaccinations.
