On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesian community in Kuwait, I would like to take the honor to extend our warmest congratulations to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah (May Allah protect him), the Government, and the People of Kuwait on the happy occasion of National Day and Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait.
At this moment, I wish to commend Kuwait’s active role as a bridge-builder and peacekeeper in the region. Indonesia and Kuwait have shown similar views on the importance of maintaining regional and international peace and stability for the benefit of the people. Having these similar spirits, Indonesia and Kuwait have ample room to expand their relations in bilateral and multilateral forums.
Both countries have shown significant cooperation growth in various sectors for the past years yet I believe many are still coming; KUFPEC for instance just found large gas reserves in Anambas Block, Indonesia.
Concluding my message, I would like to extend my best wishes for the good health and success of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, whose wise leaderships will lead the continued progress and development of Kuwait and the happiness and prosperity of its people.
