On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, it is my distinct pleasure to extend to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Crown Prince, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and His Excellency the Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the friendly people of Kuwait, congratulations on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of National Day and the 32nd anniversary of Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait.
As a nation who fights for independence, Indonesia also felt closely the burning spirit of Kuwait people in commemorating the national day as well as the liberation day. May this spirit also bring both nations to a closer ties and cooperation in contributing to each countries development.
On 28 February 2023, Indonesia and Kuwait also commemorate the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The longstanding relations and cooperation between Indonesia and Kuwait have made our friendship stronger. I am confident that given our good relations, we will always work together for the benefit of our peoples and thereby contribute to the peace, security and prosperity in the region and beyond.
I wish the state of Kuwait, its leaders and the friendly people of Kuwait best wishes and prosperity.
