I am honored to convey the warmest congratulations from the Government and the people of Indonesia to the Government and the people of Kuwait celebrating the auspicious occasion of the National Day and Liberation Day.
It is encouraging to see that the IndonesiaKuwait relations have been progressing in a friendly, mutually supportive and reassuring climate for more than 50 years. Both countries have been promoting cooperation in priority areas such as trade, tourism, investment and skilled-professional labor recruitment.
We have lent support to each other to maintain peace, stability and development in the region and the world, through the International Organizations, particularly, both countries have been elected as the Non-Permanent Member to the UN Security Council with mutual support during the election.
As we have seen over the years, maintaining friendship and productive cooperation with Kuwait is and will remain a long-standing policy of the Indonesian Government. There will be no shortage of topics to explore and concrete objectives to pursue. Allow me to also express our best wishes for good health, happiness and personal wellbeing to the Amir H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah and the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. May Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala always protect and fulfill the thriving land and the friendly Kuwaiti brothers and sisters in Kuwait, inshaAllah.
