Security cooperation between the Directorate-General of Drug Control and the Ahmadi Security Directorate resulted in the arrest of Indian expatriates living in Fahaheel, for planting narcotic poppy plant in their garden.
A security source a local Arabic daily that the DGDC was informed by the Ahmadi Security Directorate and the former discovered the farm, following which the security authority got a search and arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution and arrested the suspects seized the ‘farm’ and referred the samples of plants to Forensic evidence.
