Idukki Association’s Annual General Body Meeting was held on 2 May, at Poppins Hall in Abbasiya.
Thomas Chacko Vezhampasseril was elected as President, Jobins Joseph Kottarathil as the General Secretary and Ciju M. Chacko as the Treasurer. Bino Joseph, Babu Sebastian and Smijo K. Francis hold the position of Joint Secretary, Vice President and Joint Treasurer respectively. Mathew Areeparambil was elected as Auditor and Biju P. Anto as Advisory Board Chairman.
The former president of Idukki Association Preeth Jose Pallikamyalil presided over the meeting, while Ivy Alex Parunthuveettil and Prince Sebastian presented the annual report and last year’s economic report respectively. The president then informed that this year the association is considering implementing group insurance for its members. The other elected executive members were Sajimon P.T., Shinoy V.U., Arun Varghese, Jomy Mathew, Binoj Joseph, Biju P.T., Rubin K., Babu Thomas, Shylendran P.T., Jaisal K. John and Jose Parayanickal.
