Huge rush witnessed on first day before curfew came into effect

Huge traffic congestion and jams were witnessed on Kuwait’s streets as the clock ticked to the start of the partial curfew scheduled to start at exactly 5 pm. The curfew was imposed by the Council of Ministers as a measure to handle the rising coronavirus numbers that reached 1000 as many decided to ignore health regulations.

Many citizens complained about the great crowding, caused by everyone deciding to rush at the same time, to their homes, before the curfew started.

Google Maps showed most of Kuwait’s streets and main roads are red, evidence of huge traffic congestion that paralyzed traffic on many major roads.
