Hot and humid weather predicted for weekend weather, chances for light scattered rainfall

The Meteorological Department said that the country’s weather during the weekend will be generally hot during the day and hot at night, with a rise in relative humidity.

Director of the Department Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi said the weather maps and numerical models show that the country is affected by the extension of the Indian seasonal depression, which is accompanied by a hot and humid air mass bringing in variable winds blowing southeast, light to moderate in speed, with a chance for some scattered clouds, accompanied by an opportunity for scattered light rainfall in some areas and fog over other areas, reports Al-Rai daily.

Al-Qarawi explained the weather during the day and tonight will be hot and humid, with light to moderate southeasterly to variable winds, with a speed between 6 and 32 kilometers per hour, with an opportunity for light fog to form over some areas, and the expected minimum temperature will be between 31 and 34 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate.

Friday, he stated will be hot, partly cloudy and humid, with light to moderate variable winds, to southeasterly direction, with speeds between 8 and 40 kilometers per hour, with a chance of light scattered rain, and the expected maximum temperatures will be between 44 and 47 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate.

Saturday, Al-Qarawi said it will be hot, partly cloudy and relatively humid over the coastal areas, with winds variable to southeasterly, light to moderate, with a speed between 8 and 35 kilometers per hour, with a chance for light scattered rain, and the expected maximum temperatures will be between 45 and 48 degrees Celsius. The sea will be light to moderate, with waves between 1 and 4 feet.

He pointed out that the weather on Saturday at night will be hot with light to moderate southwesterly winds, with speeds between 8 and 30 kilometers per hour, and the expected minimum temperature between 32 and 35 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate, with waves between 1 and 3 feet.
