Directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah always highlight care for the youth, males and females, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Jenan Ramadan said on Saturday.
The youth are partners in country’s march towards development and innovation, she said in a speech to the award ceremony of Kuwait innovation initiative for women’s research and projects.
The minister was speaking on behalf of His Highness the Amir, the sponsor of initiative dubbed “Sheikha Fadia Al Saad Al-Sabah’s scientific competition at the Gulf level.”
She noted that His Highness the Amir has announced the establishment of Kuwait’s innovation center to support and care for youth’s inventions and innovations so as to turn them into scientific projects.
he lauded achievements made by the female student winners in the competition, saying this will be in favor of their country and future.
For her part, Chairwoman of Al Saad center for Knowledge and scientific research Sheikha Fadia Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah expressed her pleasure for this initiative, which has been established on a solid ground and spread in the Gulf countries, thanks to God.
Chairwoman of the initiative Sheikha Nabila Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah hoped that the competition would attract further female students interested in scientific research to contribute to developing the society.
