The health situation in Kuwait is good although the situation in China and other countries continue to worsen in the face of the Corona virus in the midst of a rise in infections at global level.
A local Arabic daily quoting health sources said the situation in Kuwait is reassuring and Kuwait continues to permanently coordinate with the World Health Organization to follow up on developments in the epidemiological situation.
The sources indicated that the percentage of infections for the number of daily swabs in the country did not exceed one percent during the recent period, and the recovery rates from infection touched 100 percent, indicating that community immunity has been strengthened at an unprecedented level compared to what it was in the early of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The sources pointed out that the number of citizens and residents who received the “third and fourth” booster doses exceeded 217 thousand during 8 months from April to December 2022.
The sources confirmed that the movement at the Kuwait International Airport is normal and there are no restrictions on travel, and flights are operating according to the usual schedule.
