Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, visited unannounced a number of primary health care centers on Sunday evening, accompanied by the Director of the Inspection and Audit Office, Dr. Hashem Al-Hashemi.
Informed sources told a local Arabic daily that the Minister of Health has referred many officials, doctors and employees of the Southern Ardhiya and Al-Firdous health centers for urgent investigation to know the reasons for overcrowding at the two centers.
The sources stated that the Minister of Health was deeply dissatisfied with overcrowding as a result of absence of doctors and employees during the scheduled working hours.
