The Minister of Health, Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, announced the vaccination campaign against the coronavirus will start tomorrow, on Thursday, and the first phase will include front-row workers and the elderly, and then other groups, pointing out that the vaccination batches will arrive monthly, Al Rai daily reported.

He mentioned that the vaccination campaign will continue for a whole year until the majority of Kuwait’s population is vaccinated.

The Minister of Health (MoH) inspected the vaccination center in the exhibition grounds, Hall 5, accompanied by a number of the ministry’s leaders, to check the equipment prior to starting the vaccination process after the arrival of the first shipment of the anti-coronavirus vaccine.

According to MoH, the number of registrants wishing to take the Pfizer vaccine has so far exceeded 73,000 citizens and residents, amid expectations that these numbers will increase during the coming period, and as such two additional sites for vaccinations in Jahra and Ahmadi will be set up.
