A grandmother who stabbed her 5-year-old grandson to death on January 25, 2022, in Coventry, western England, while she was taking care of him has been sent to mental institution pending her trial date next June, and the investigations did not show the reason for her stabbing her grandson until the moment.
On Thursday, the 50-year-old grandmother of the child, Elena Angel, was charged with murder by the British court for stabbing her grandson, Dario Mario Lazar.
The child, known as Mario, was found seriously injured in an apartment in the suburb of Earlsdon in Coventry, and he died before ambulance crews arrived at the scene. Police also reported that their crews had arrested the child’s grandmother, Elena Angel, at the scene. Mario’s parents confirmed that their child was in good health.
