In a reflection of Kuwait’s endeavors to empower women to be partners with men in vital workplaces, and to advance development and its efforts to support youth energies, three young men and seven women have been appointed to the committee to follow up on the recommendations of the Government Communications Center in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
The Al-Qabas daily gave the name of seven women as Amina Abdel Rahim, Munira Al-Falah, Taibah Al-Murshed, Latifa Al-Abdulhadi, Taibah Al-Qabandi, Alaa Al-Jari, Munira Al-Mufarrah and the male members are Faisal Al-Nasser, Mishaal Al-Zaid and Khaled Al-Ibrahim.
The Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Rana Al-Faris, has chosen Ahmed Al-Barjas as the head of the committee and an official spokesperson for the Ministry of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs. She also chose Abdullah Al-Mufarrah as his deputy to head the committee.
