The government is planning to compensate small and medium business owners affected by the recent decisions to close some economic activities, a meeting is to be held tomorrow (Thursday) to discuss the matter of compensation for owners of small and medium enterprises(SMEs), Al Qabas reported.
Reliable sources told the daily that the government is studying compensation plan for the affected business owners, indicating that a proposal is on the study table. The proposal includes disbursing sums of money to business owners whose activities are suspended, equal to the value of the monthly rent in addition to the salaries of workers according to the records of the Manpower Authority.
