Glimpses of Timeless India Exhibition showcasing 38 paintings by Joice Sibi spouse of Indian Ambassador Sibi George will conclude today. The Exhibition held at the Kuwait Arts Association premises in Hawally for 11 days drew a wide spectrum of visitors who also enjoyed a cultural spectacle by local Indian dancers during the 11 days.
The art exhibition showcased a collection of paintings by Ms. Sibi that were rendered over a period of more than a decade. The paintings are a refreshing and colorful display of India through her eyes. The unique style evident in her paintings are a vivid reflection of her inner feelings and imagination.
On the sidelines of the exhibition was a mesmerising display of a cultural extravaganza that showcased many Indian Art forms.
Her Excellency Sheikha Hanoof Bader Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, spouse of HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Kuwait, and Honourary President of the International Women’s Group also visited the Timeless India Painting Exhibition and expressed delight at the display.
The exhibition will close today at 9 pm.
