On behalf of the Government of Georgia, Georgian people and me personally, with great pleasure I want to congratulate His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Excellency Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, and the friendly People of the State of Kuwait, on the occasion of National Day and Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait.
The year 2022 is a special year for Kuwaiti-Georgian relations, as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between our two countries. During this period, friendly and stable relations between Kuwait and Georgia are developing successfully. This process is developing mostly after the beginning of direct flights between our two countries four years ago.
During this period thousands of visitors from Kuwait visited Georgia, not only for tourism, but also business and trade affairs. We hope that this process will continue farther with more success, because along with the friendly relations between our governments, development of ‘People to People’ relations are no less important. We are expecting further development of our relations in fields of culture and education.
We hope that during this year and nearest years our relationship will rise on higher level and Kuwait and Georgian people will feel the results of its further development.
