On behalf of the Government and the People of Georgia, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Government, and the friendly people of Kuwait on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of Kuwait National Day and the 32nd anniversary of Kuwait’s Liberation Day.
Diplomatic relations between Kuwait and Georgia were established in 1992. We appreciate Kuwait’s continuous and firm support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. During this period, our friendly relations have developed successfully in politics, economics and cultural spheres. Tourist and business activities between our countries are especially developing after the introduction of direct flights from Kuwait to Georgia in 2017. More than 40,000 tourists, students and business people visit Georgia from Kuwait. We hope that further development of relations not only, between our governments but also our people, will help to further develop our relations in the sphere of business, culture and education.
I have been in Kuwait for more than three years now and during all this period, I always feel the warm and friendly attitude from the Government and the people of Kuwait.
Once more, I wish the State of Kuwait, its Leaders and the friendly people of Kuwait my best wishes for good health, success and continued prosperity.
