The Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs, Ambassador Waleed Al Khubaizi, announced that the French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian will pay a visit to Kuwait as part of a tour of the Middle Eastern region tomorrow, July 16, 2020. He noted that he will meet with Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Al-Nasser, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them on all levels, in addition to cooperation between the two countries with regards to facing the coronavirus pandemic within the framework of international efforts.
He added that they will also discuss all regional issues, their developments, and ways to enhance security and stability in the region. Al-Khubaizi explained that the visit reflects the distinguished level of coordination that brings Kuwait and France together with regard to discussing regional and international issues and files, and praised the pioneering French role in the international arena, especially in the Middle East issues.
