The Hawally detectives investigated a case surrounding an accusation made by an elderly citizen against an Indian expatriate for fraud amounting to 370 Kuwaiti dinars. Investigators have determined that the accused is innocent of the charge, Al-Anbaa reported. Furthermore, the investigation revealed that the WhatsApp message that implicated the accused was not sent using his WhatsApp account. It was suspected that the accused was most likely targeted and involved in fraudulent activities by specialized gangs, who aimed to open a WhatsApp account under his name.
