On behalf of the French Republic, I would like to extend my congratulations and warmest wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Sabah, and the people of Kuwait on the occasion of the National and Liberation days of Kuwait.
It is a great honor for me to share the joys and pleasures of the Kuwaiti people on these holidays. France has been and will always be a friend of Kuwait.
Kuwait has always been an example of prosperity and peace in the region. The openness and tolerance of its people made it a land of meeting, coexistence and dialogue, a country of security and wellbeing in which citizens and residents live in harmony and respect.
Kuwait is dedicated to exploring new fields in technology and development. I want to assure that France remains committed to working closely with Kuwait in enhancing our cooperation in those spheres, in which we can bring the French expertise, but also in many other aspects of our bilateral relation.
I am confident that Kuwait, with its youth and under the leadership of His Highness the Amir, will continue its steady march on the path of progress, prosperity and reliability in the region.
