Four sets of flexible working hours to go into effect after Eid holiday

The Civil Service Bureau has issued a decision to implement new official working hours for government institutions after the end of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

In a circular the CSC stated this system will continue for several months until the completion of the study which will be done in coordination with the competent authorities and will then be referred to the competent authority for final approval of multiple working systems, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The official working hours will be in accordance with the provisions of this decision during the days from Sunday to Thursday of each week, at a rate of 7 hours per day, as follows:

— From seven in the morning until two in the afternoon.

— From seven thirty in the morning until two thirty in the afternoon.

— From eight in the morning until three in the afternoon.

— From eight thirty in the morning until three thirty in the afternoon.

The Bureau stated that each government entity may choose more than one option as referred to in Article 1 of this decision, according to the circumstances and nature of the work, and without prejudice to the workflow in the entity, provided that a decision is issued by the concerned minister or whoever the minister delegates.
