Five firefighting teams, acting on information rushed to the Amghara scrap yard and put out the fire without causing any human casualties.
The Al-Rai dailysaid, the fire broke out in a warehouse containing highly flammable materials, oils, wood and building materials on approximately 2000 square meters area.
The Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Force said the area was reduced to ashes while at the same time calling on the owners of factories, warehouses, industrial plots and commercial buildings to apply safety and fire prevention requirements and remove obstacles that may hamper the work of the firefighters.
