The head of the Kuwaiti Fishermen Federation, Zahir Al-Soyyan, praised the efforts of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and its keenness to preserve public health in the country, praising the decision of the Minister of Health Sheikh Basil Al-Sabah to vaccinate workers who have direct contact with the public, such as the work of cooperative societies, central markets, malls, restaurants, and others.

Al-Soyan called on the Ministry of Health to vaccinate the workers in the markets of Sharq and Fahaheel, the owners of the stalls, the employees of the signage offices, and the vendors so that there is a readiness to receive the public after the ban is lifted, Al-Rai reported.

He said in a statement that the Ministry of Health initiatives since the beginning of the Corona epidemic and until now are well-known initiatives by everyone, he appealed for the return of the fish market auction, noting that all other auctions of the Ministry of Commerce are continuing their work.

Al-Soyan expressed his hope that the Ministry of Health would understand the request of the Fishermen’s Union, and that it would initiate the vaccination of the workers of the Eastern and Fahaheel markets.
