The first direct commercial flights departed today, Thursday from Kuwait Airport to London, after suspension since last January, Al Qabas reported.
A total of 260 passengers were present on the early morning Kuwait Airways plane. The flight departed at 9:15 am.
Onboard were many students studying in the UK, as well as patients wishing to be treated abroad.
