The Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Force announced that the Central Operations Department received a report on Friday afternoon about a refrigerant gas leak in the basement of a cooperative society.
Al Jarida reported that the leak caused dense smoke to fill the basement. Firefighters responded to the scene and were able to contain the leak and ventilate the basement. There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
