Four fire-fighting teams rushed to Kabad and put out fire to 48 prefabricated chalets belonging to a contracting company.
The Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Force stated that after a report was received by the Central Operations Department Sunday evening, fire engines from Kabad, Al-Istiqlal, Sulaibikhat, and support fire stations were rushed to the site.
The fire also destroyed the refrigerators and workers’ housing belonging to the company. The fire was immediately brought under control to prevent it from spreading to neighboring areas.
No casualties have been reported.
