A 51-year-old Filipino maid commits suicide in the Sabah Al Nasser area after she came to know that she had been tested COVID-19 positive, an Arabic daily reported.
Her sponsor stated that she slit her wrist and jumped from the second floor after learning that she had tested positive.
Security forces were sent to the scene to collect forensic evidence, after notifying the prosecutor. A suicide case has been registered.
