Filipino domestic workers costing KD15 dinars for 5 hours per day

One of the companies providing domestic workers when being contacted by Al Rai daily, responded that its domestic workers were contracted to clean homes on an hourly basis, and the work may extend for five hours per day, Al Rai daily reported. The official of that company stated that the domestic workers are transported to all areas of Kuwait, except remote areas such as Al-Wafra and Al-Abdali, and mentioned that all the female workers are of Filipino nationality, which can be chosen from a selection and changed upon request. The daily contacted the company through the number mentioned on an advertisement.

The prices depend on the governorate, with capital and surrounding areas costing KD 10 dinars for every five hours per day (with the exception of Jaber al-Ahmad district), the prices in Farwaniya and Mubarak al-Kabeer governorates reach KD12 dinars for five hours per day, while the prices in the governorates of Al-Ahmadi and Al-Jahra (in addition to the Jaber Al-Ahmad area) amount to KD 15 dinars for 5 hours.

He pointed out that these prices do not include the costs of cleaning equipment, which will cost an additional KD 5, and the cleaning services do not include cooking or child care or caring for the elderly, and do not include washing or ironing clothes.
